Shlomo

Shlomo will be performing at the Brent Respect Festival.

A vocal artist based in the UK who evades classification. Part human beatboxer, part jazz drummer, part musician-at-large, Shlomo has worked for years to push the boundaries of beatboxing as a collaborative musical artform.
Shlomo has recorded music for the Olympic Games with Björk, appeared on ‘Later… with Jools Holland’ and appeared at Glastonbury.

He makes original human music through any means possible, be it loop sampling, group performance or collaborative improvisations.

Also a talented jazz drummer and classically-trained percussionist, Shlomo treats the art of beatboxing as a form of music and a means for creative expression.

A selection of youtube videos for your viewing pleasure.
